Membership

Membership to the Association is voluntary and open to any Tanzania researcher who has attained the age of 18 years and above, from medium or tertiary learning institution registered and operating under the laws of the United Republic of Tanzania which or who is ready to join hands in supporting and promoting the vision, mission and objectives of the Association.

There are five types of membership:

Founder membership

These are members who made the initiatives to establish this Association.

Individual membership

These are members who are natural persons belonging in a certain professional discipline who are active in research and development.

Student membership

These are individuals who pursue their studies in either medium or tertiary learning institution within or outside the United Republic of Tanzania.

Associate memberships

These are institutions which do not fall under Article 11(2), non-Tanzania students and individual researchers who are non-Tanzanians but reside in Tanzania fulfilling similar objectives as the Association’s objectives.

Institutional membership

These are institutions or organisations established or operating in Tanzania according to the laws of the United Republic of Tanzania where their objectives are largely similar with the Association’s objectives.
